Most Overrated trend: Makeup! It’s not necessary to doll up all the time. Simplicity and understatement win most battles.

Longing to buy: I recently went on a shopping spree abroad, I’ve bought a car and have shifted into my new house. So there’s nothing on my wish list right now.

Latest fashion buy: The solitaires that I bought for myself.

Favorite scent: On the Rocks, by Ralph Lauren.

Favorite things to wear: Knee-length dresses, denims and tees.

Love for gadget: That will  be a toss-up between my Nokia Communicator and my laptop.

Beauty crime: Too much makeup.

Brands talk: I’m not a brand conscious person, but I’m very loyal to the brands I endorse.

Style icon: Rekha. She’s got a timeless beauty and looks equally good in Indian and Western outfits.

Dream destination: The south of France, for its dreamy weather.

Color me bright: I go through phases. After wearing white for a long time, I’m now fond of monochromatic clothes in bright shades like fuchsia and lime-green. My style is very classic and conservative.

Things in Bag: Wallet, house keys, a camera, sunglasses and since, I’m very organized, I carry a small pouch that contains safety pins, a needle and thread and basic medication.

Beauty secret: Drinking loads of water.

An unknown fact: I’m a complete chocoholic.
